Thanks for all the cheering! Because of the complete silence that suddenly dawned here over Graasland yesterday evening, you might have thought I dropped out of the readathon.

I didn’t, but things did go different than I had expected. Listening to Paul Auster while baking poppy seed scones was not a success: I could not concentrate on the book and (maybe worse) I believe my scones were a complete #fail. Let’s hope they at least taste good? Picture will be posted later.

I went on to have dinner and watch a butoh performance by taketeru kudo, which was marvelous. Back home I was pretty tired so Twitter lured me away from what I meant to do until I found the courage to go read in bed. Not smart, I know ;) And a long phonecall kept me from much reading anway… I was glad with the call so it doesn’t matter (& Her Fearful Symmetry might not be the best book to read late at night???) but I am annoyed that I overslept this Sunday morning! I had set my alarm clock for 4:55am but somehow my body refused to listen :\

Anyhow, I’m back for some more cheering and reading. My book is great and a very good choice for a readathon! There has probably been a mini-challenge out there asking for book tips, but I’d better not go check ;) Those challenges and blogging still take too much time!
