Lekkerrrrr!

YUM!! I can’t wait for the farmers’ market to open, soon very soon.

I’ll take the bok choy. I love it! I also like to use green onions (are those the same as spring onions?–they look pretty similar) to make Chinese Chicken Salad. Mmmmm…Nice post. I like it!

@leeswammes: a plus to strawberries is that there’s so much you can do with them! Although they’re best eaten as a whole. These were simply DELISH, a real difference with the ‘water bombs’ you can buy in the supermarket. Which we don’t ;)
@Misch: :-o the season hasn’t opened yet where you live?! We’re nearing our 3rd month and we’re so happy :) Sending {{{vibes}}} over to make the farmers’ market open earlier than planned! ;)
@hanneke: je hebt helemaal gelijk natuurlijk! Was gisteren moe en wilde gehaast toch even mijn (b)logje posten…
@Carin B.: sorry, I’m *keeping* the bok choi! LOL I was going to ask you for your recipe but I’d have to replace the chicken for quorn and that’s not a great ingredient for salads. Hm… tofu might do the trick?! And yes, spring onions = green onions = scallions. Really can’t do without ;)

Gnoegnoe: We have long winters, it lightly snows in April. This May we had hail, which was crazy and probably didn’t help the fields. Thanks for the vibes, I want farm fresh produce.

Beautiful, crystalline image…love that deep purple eggplant–it glows!
